Development Empowerment Women Association (DEWA) is a non-governmental, not for profit organization established in 1999. The organization was initiated by a women entrepreneurs group comprising of 25 no of women of Lower Dir who were trained during ILO Programme “Training & Employment for Rural Women” on skill of bees keeping and Enterprise Development. The group started working to empower and strengthen the local women through the knowledge and skills acquired during trainings.
